|
Ann Belth offers basic dressage and balanced seat instruction. She began riding dressage in the mid-1990's, and has owned, ridden, and cared for horses for the last 40 years. She grew up in 4-H Horse & Pony riding hunt seat, saddle seat, and western pleasure, as well as doing some jumping. After college, she did some trail riding and then competed in Arabian Country Pleasure AOTR (saddle seat) for a couple of years before switching to dressage. During the late 1990's, Ann rode in regular dressage clinics with Michael Barisone, and hauled to Florida one winter to ride with him for three months. She has been schooling with Linda Heiny since 2000, with a gap of a couple of years. Ann has ridden in two clinics with a Bereiter from the Spanish Riding School of Vienna. Since 2007, she has been riding in clinics with Bettina Drummond as often as possible. Ann has competed successfully through second level and schooled through third level, along with a bit of piaffe and passage.
